Bachelor of Counselling
"I look forward to using my Diploma to continue helping others in their life journey."
"I found study to be to fairly easy most of the time, to do at home in-between work and volunteering. The setup is manageable if you read the help tips. What was hard to do was to keep time aside for study online, when I had so much going on in life with full-time work, fitness, study and martial arts training. Oh, and a puppy that was training with socialising and walking!
Having a tutor, even with the small additional cost, was invaluable. The tutor was very helpful too while I was studying, especially in keeping me motivated and on-task.
I found volunteering to be extremely rewarding and gave hands on experience while learning through the AIPC Diploma – this also gives a reference and a basis of how some organisations work. I look forward to using my Diploma to continue helping others in their life journey."

"With AIPC, its not just about studying, it's about what's beyond that. "There's so much emphasis on practical learning. It does actually prepare you for the job itself. It is flexible. You can mould it to suit your life.
"Counselling is not just a career but a calling because it's powerful, meaningful and genuine work. Counsellors walk beside their clients through challenges but they are also there for the quiet breakthroughs, it's very rewarding.
I was in various industries beforehand– graphic design, web design, ecommerce. Then I had two kids and realised I needed a change. I took a really big leap and decided to commit to the Diploma of Counselling and it was the best decision I've ever made. The freedom to study at my own pace. The phone support was really good and the assessors were amazing. They really set you up to succeed."
"The part of the course I enjoyed the most was the practical side. It really was superb. It was where I learnt how to become a counsellor, not just learning about what a counsellor does."

"As a counsellor, I want to work towards people feeling happier and better and more positive… I’m really happy to continue on this journey, helping as many individuals as possible."
"One of the aspects I loved most about the course was how flexible it was. I could do the modules anywhere at any time."
